Custom Orders

Custom orders are amazing, they allow us to showcase our technical and creative abilities and we are happy to work directly with you to fulfill your vision of a truly bespoke leather piece. 

Please be aware we operate a small artisan studio, custom orders can be slow to produce and are not something to consider if you are in a hurry. Our lead times are dependent on volume of current custom orders in our production queue.  We will always provide an estimate on when we can commence work on your project and as that time nears we will confirm your interest and discuss payment terms.

There are differing levels of custom work:
  1. Made to Order – current production items, made on demand. Normal production time 7-14 days.
  2. Personalized Branding – may include laser etching or heat stamp press. 
  3. Reproduction – current (non-made to order) or past production piece created in an alternate leather selection. Production time 7-21 days depending on leather availability.
  4. Design and Creation of a new Production Piece - including patterning and prototypes 
  5. Repairs – have an item that needs a little TLC, we may be able to help.
In general any of our made to order or reproduction items we produce within 7-21 days, personalized branding requires ordering and receiving a tool from a third party, design pieces have the longest lead time as there is more work in developing and prototyping patterns, and finally volume sales will be completely dependent on the size of the order.

Fee Structure
  1. Made to Order: Items such as our belts are made individually per order and as such are not subject to any additional fees.
  2. Personalized Branding: A custom quote will be provided, upon receipt of brand request.
  3. Reproduction: Subject to leather/fabric availability. In the event that we have your leather/fabric in inventory there will be no additional fee. If we are able to source the requested leather there will be a 10% stock fee added to your purchase in order to bring the material into the studio.
  4. New Design: Creating a new product design is a very involved process and can take months of design and trial and error. Although we will not recreate other makers' patterns, we will work directly with you sharing ideas and requirements to create an item specific to your wants. All new design orders are subject to a $50.00 non-refundable design fee, which includes email consultation and two pattern revisions. After an accepted design is established a cost estimate will be issued and a 50% non-refundable deposit is to be paid with full payment due at project completion.
  5. Repairs: Occasionally we receive requests to repair a well-loved item, we are happy to look at each case individually and provide a realistic opinion as to our ability to assist you in your repair need.
